News Article Assignment: Current Events in the World

Find a current newspaper or magazine article that is noteworthy & relates to a country in the world other than the USA.
The article must be no older than 1 month.

Paper Details

Prepare a typed paper on the article.
The paper must be at least 1 page (normal font( 10 or 12) & standard margins of an inch all around) to a maximum of a 2 pages.
Paper must be typed
The paper will be due A2: Sept-27-2024
The written paper will count as a both a test, quiz and homework grade.
Topic approval will count as a homework grade.
For every day the assignment is late you will have 20 points deducted from your grade.
In the paper the following points must be addressed:

Article info (author/s, date & source)
Brief summary of article? (Min/Max paragraph)
What issue/s does the article raise that relates to another country in the world? (Min paragraph)
Your article affects whom or what groups? (Min paragraph)
Does the article affect the USA? Why or why not?(Min paragraph)
What is your opinion or views concerning the information from the article? {Be specific} (Min paragraph)
Why did you choose this article? (1 or 2 sentences)
